Ministry of Secondary, Technical & Vocational Education

Post Primary Schools Management Board (PPSMB)

Manages senior secondary education and administration.

  • Supervision and administration of senior secondary schools.
  • Posting, transfer, and promotion of secondary school teaching staff.
  • Coordination of external examinations (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB).

State Agency for Mass Education (SAME)

Focuses on adult literacy, non-formal education, and vocational learning.

  • Providing functional literacy programmes for adults and out-of-school youth.
  • Running community vocational training hubs across the 16 LGAs.

Department of Examinations (Secondary & Technical)

Coordinates state-level secondary and technical evaluations.
